THE TESCO STORY

Our Story

We started Tescobar as a way to honor our family, our music, and our culture. We are a family of artists, teachers, and individuals who look for truths.

The truths we found are that we have an INCREDIBLY rich history that should be celebrated!

As teachers, we want to be able to share the knowledge and experiences with everyone. We also want to learn from others, so that we can all grow and thrive TOGETHER!

As artists, we tell some of these stories in our music, and others through our dances. Music is one of the greatest expressions of Puerto Rican and Hispanic cultures, and we want to showcase the old, the new, and the classics, performed by some of the BEST people in these communities!

Family plays a huge role in all Hispanic cultures, especially for us. This is why we named it after my late father, Tony Escobar. He was a man who embodied the spirit of Hispanic and Caribbean culture, and always had fun doing it! We're not just talking about a literal family, because here at Tescobar, we invite you ALL to come and enjoy some of the best things in our culture, and be a part of OUR family!
